Seven Wonders Key Holder
I was commissioned by a design company to create a unique key holder inspired by the Seven Wonders of the World. The project aimed to combine functionality with a captivating theme, paying homage to these iconic landmarks.
Key Features:
- Design inspired by the Seven Wonders of the World: Great Wall of China, Petra, Christ the Redeemer, Machu Picchu, Chichen Itza, Colosseum, and Taj Mahal.
- Laser-cut metal sheets: Utilizing advanced laser-cutting technology, the intricate designs of the Seven Wonders were precisely etched onto a durable metal sheet.
- Bending for enhanced aesthetics and functionality: The metal sheets were skillfully bent to create a three-dimensional effect, providing convenient hooks for hanging keys.
- High-quality craftsmanship: Meticulous attention to detail was given to ensure a flawless finish, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the key holder.
- Space-saving and practical: The key holder was designed to be compact yet capable of accommodating multiple sets of keys on its six hooks.
Technologies Used:
- AutoCAD: I utilized AutoCAD, a professional design software, to create the precise and intricate layout of the Seven Wonders on the key holder.
- DXF File: I exported the AutoCAD design as a DXF file, which was compatible with the laser-cutting machine.
- Laser-cutting: Advanced laser-cutting technology was employed to engrave the design onto the 1mm metal sheets accurately.
The Seven Wonders Key Holder was a successful fusion of art and functionality. It showcased the wonders of the world while providing a practical solution for organizing keys in an elegant manner. The project allowed me to explore the intersection of design and engineering, delivering a unique and visually stunning product for the design company's clients.
